Mmm, I don't know anything about experimental sources, but I don't know if 
there's any installed.

Yes, they worked, files (images, music), iso images... the only thing that 
isn't working is the eject after the burning, but that could just be brasero.

I don't know if data was corrupted (but because i might not know how to 
identify data corruption unless that means that I can't open a file or 
something like that).

What happened previously, when burning CDs, was, in the beginning, that the 
process would hang before any data could be written, and made the CD unreadable 
(like it couldn't be mount). Luckily I used a rewritable CD and could erase it 
and make it usable again under Windoze. I think that was "fix" in the last 
kernel upgrade.

After that, during burning process it seemed that data was in fact being 
written, but then it couldn't fixate, and the same problem would appear, the CD 
wouldn't mount.

Sorry if this isn't very clear (my english is a bit rusty).
