Package: mc Version: 3:4.7.0.6-1 Severity: normal Tags: upstream *Since lenny* the "fish" in mc does not preserve the original modification time of a file that is copied to a remote host, instead it will be changed to the time of copying. Thus, the files cannot be "synced" or "mirrored". (It is like "cp -a" would work without the option "-a".) This "annoying" behaviour appeared first in lenny: in etch the copying to remote hosts with mc still worked as the copying to a local folder, AFAIR. (If there is an adjustable option for it then I could not find it... sorry.)
