I have a .gitconfig for the root user, but etckeeper is still ignoring the author information in that file.
I have tried to use standalone git to commit files as root and it does honour those settings. Using etckeeper 0.47 git 1.7.1 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
