today, it occured again. I had an upgrade happening:
2010-06-24 12:13:35 upgrade xulrunner-dev 1.9.1.9-7+b1 1.9.1.10-1

Coping the .galeon directory out of the way, starting galeon once,
copying back did fix it. But not the first time I tried. Still very
strange... I guess you can ignore the bug until more people are known to
be affected or I can provide more information, but it is definitely
still present.
