yeah, I was thinking about it... but then I'd have to hardcode shebang
to python2.6 and thus hardcode python2.6 in Depends (or provide a shell
wrapper which will choose the right Python interpreter)

Python 2.6 should be in testing in 10 days so I decided it's not worth
it.
