This works for me both on startup and shutdown.. well, I get the console for a split second on shutdown/restart before plymouth kicks in.
I guess it has to do with the fact that I do NOT use KMS for now on my radeon x1250. I don't know if I am making a atrocity here as well. We're getting closer though :) ### BEGIN INIT INFO # Provides: plymouth # Required-Start: udev $remote_fs # Required-Stop: $remote_fs # Should-Start: gdm3 gdm kdm xdm # Should-Stop: # X-Start-Before: # X-Stop-After: gdm3 gdm kdm xdm # Default-Start: 2 3 4 5 # Default-Stop: 0 6 # Short-Description: Stop plymouth during boot and start it on shutdown Regards, -- Omar Campagne Polaino -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
