Hi Andreas,

I was talking with Paul about the issue and as this patch is only a temporary 
workaround and possible side effects of the patch are not clear I will not 
include it in the next Debian package. But as the patch is not very invasive I 
guess it won't be a problem for you to download the Debian source package and 
rebuild it with the patch included. When Paul comes up with an official 
solution, I will try to include it ASAP, until then we keep the bug report open 
and when news come up I will inform you.
