Package: liblocal-lib-perl Version: 1.006004-1 Severity: minor Justification: user error (i.e., documentation bug)
I use local::lib to locally install perl modules that have not yet been packaged for Debian. Normally it works great, but today I ran into trouble building git: $ make git-svn SUBDIR perl /usr/bin/perl Makefile.PL PREFIX='/home/jrn' Only one of PREFIX or INSTALL_BASE can be given. Not both. make[1]: *** [perl.mak] Error 255 make: *** [perl/perl.mak] Error 2 I would have expected the PREFIX to take precedence or the local::lib(3pm) manual page to give some guidance. Ideas?
