The package already suggests installing libnet-ldap-perl.  It does not
depend on it because it works perfectly well without the LDAP
connection.  LDAP is only one of many lbdb modules and most users only
use the local database.  Depending on all packages that are required
by only one module (like abook, finger, libpalm-perl) would blow the
dependency tree of lbdb, which isn't fully compatible with the idea behind 
a "little" brother database :-)
