i was able to get this to build from source in a current sid chroot using the patch supplied in may of last year:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=512429#37 using these packages, i was able to test that they worked using qemu-system version 0.12.4+dfsg-2, though i don't have real hardware to test quik with. i also applied the patch supplied in: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=513182 which allowed debian-installer to continue. since these two RC bugs have been open for more than a year with seemingly viable patches... perhaps an upload is in order? i could prepare an NMU if desired, though i have limited ability to test much more than i've already done. live well, vagrant -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
