Please run: sh -x /usr/sbin/grub-install /dev/sda ... and show me the output. (If you're running this from a rescue CD, make sure that you're chrooted to your normal root directory first and that /proc, /sys, and /dev are mounted inside the chroot.) > I tryed to reconfigure locales and install locales-all.
