Before we close this out with an assumption that an update will help, Abel, could you clarify one thing? ls -l /dev/mapper/ssd-root If that's a symlink, then Bastian is probably right and upgrading grub-pc should do the job. If it isn't a symlink, then we'll need to investigate further.
