Indeed, but the question is: why wasn't texlive-base-bin pulled in the
first time?
I have no idea: I don't think that "latex-cjk-all" is to blame: it
depends on latex-cjk-chinese, and then all the way to
texlive-base-bin.

Frank, Hilmar: do you want to investigate this further?  If not, then
I think I will close this bug.
