i read your post.

i don't think the version 1.33.0 is such a big problem as long as
we clearly inform the user he is going to install a unofficial boost
package.

also the "s" in the static library name is not a problem, we would
provide a symlink to it anyway (as we already do for other boost
libraries).

is there a shared logging library?

a patch always helps but i could ignore it, if i don't like it :)

the major info i need is how to get the logging library sources,
if they are not in the 1.33.0 tarball (which i still have not
downloaded and probably won't do today. i have other work to do :/ ).
is http://www.torjo.com/code/logging.zip the unofficial download link?
