Package: splashy Version: 0.3.13-5.1 Hi,
splashy does not run on boot, even if it does on rebooting or testing it with splashy test. The bug is being fixed in git [1] and it's probably related to the never kernel present in squeeze. The result of: $ cat /proc/fb 0 inteldrmfb and inside initramfs, scripts/local-premount/splashy grep -q '\(VESA\|VGA\)' || exit /sbin/splashy boot which prevent from executing splashy.
