Package: locales Version: 2.3.5-3 Severity: important -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1
locales fails to build a locale for the following two locales: sr_CS ISO-8859-5 sr_CS.UTF-8 UTF-8 Since this has been reported before for other languages (see #314855) there may be other broken locales still lingering, but these are the only two I have personally run into. The below debconf information included with the report (locales_to_be_generated) is not accurate as it should include the above two locales as well. This is presumably because there has not been a successful install of locales with these settings yet. The locales that should be built, as listed in /etc/locale.gen: en_US ISO-8859-1 en_US.UTF-8 UTF-8 sr_CS ISO-8859-5 sr_CS.UTF-8 UTF-8 (whitespace is part of original file) - -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.11-9-amd64-k8 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages locales depends on: ii debconf 1.4.57 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 [glibc-2.3.5-3] 2.3.5-3 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an locales recommends no packages. - -- debconf information: * locales/default_environment_locale: en_US * locales/locales_to_be_generated: en_US ISO-8859-1, en_US.UTF-8 UTF-8 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFC/Aj/BPYwh6bSSDcRAlVzAJ4tpV9UmxtUoUof8mu1eIhrwPi7YQCfebOs K/Xrnt9Apb08LATLSb3krDs= =yHgd -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
