As i said in the original bug report, I can't reproduce the problem, it seemed to be dependent on twitter's issues at the time (but it's still a bug somewhere since it shouldn't freeze no matter what happens with the service). I just reported it in case someone else runs into this (and maybe for some instructions on how to obtain relevant debugging information). I haven't had other problems since, so I'll wait until it gets into squeeze if nothing else hapens.
