Hopelesslly I have to tell you that there won't be a new alsa
version to fix your non existent bug. I am a bit despaired...

As usual with your ever been the same report:

Send the the output of

$ cat /proc/asound/cards
$ lsmod | grep snd

As root create a file:
/etc/modprobe.d/local.conf

where you can arrange the order of your sound devices as described
in /usr/share/doc/alsa-base/README.Debian.gz. I've told you this
many times before. If you send me the outputs above I'll create this
file for you and send it as an attachment which you have to save in
/etc/modprobe.d/.
