Package: gourmet Version: 0.15.4-2 Severity: important Tags: patch User: ubuntu-de...@lists.ubuntu.com Usertags: origin-ubuntu maverick ubuntu-patch
Hi again, With the fix from bug #584833, there are no known remaining incompatibilities between gourmet source and python 2.6. However, in the packaging of the latest upstream version, you've set debian/pyversions to 2.5. This means gourmet will become uninstallable in Debian as soon as the python default switches to 2.6. The attached trivial patch corrects this, letting pycentral byte-compile the gourmet private extensions for whatever python version is current at the time. -- Steve Langasek Give me a lever long enough and a Free OS Debian Developer to set it on, and I can move the world.
