OK, do you happen to use KDE4? Otherwise there's no change between -9 and -10
which would explain this.
(And as this was a backported patch this means this actually is a upstream bug
upstream will have too in 3.3..)

If so, what happens when you install/deinstall openoffice.org-kde?

(That said, it works for me in a simple KDE with and without openoffice.org-kde)
