That is definitely strange. As Petter says, the cache format is
identical for 1.0.5 and 1.2.0, and we do expect upgrades to work without
a hitch.
An argument could be made for having upgrades clear the ccacheFile entry
of the cache, to guarantee that after upgrade a fresh credential cache
file is used, but it shouldn't strictly be necessary.
I'm escalating this to the Kerberos expert and the QA engineer on my
team to see if they can reproduce this issue.
