Package: plymouth Version: 0.8.3-2 Severity: normal The problem still exists for me with version 0.8.3-2. I did some research and it seems that initramfs-tools >= 0.95 doesn't add the needed binaries to the initrd. Probably this is due to changes to the copy_exec hook-function as it seems that the plymouth hook script is aborted after the first call of this function.
