I tested with 0.15-1 rebuilt for Ubuntu Lucid (my test machine had
that OS at the moment), and it still happen. Popups show up in Gnome.
I believe I saw notifications showing up with KDE when I tested that.
Is there some subtile difference between KDE and Gnome?

There is no setting in gconf, that I can see:

  p...@pxe-test2-pre:~$ grep -rl krb5 .gconf
  p...@pxe-test2-pre:~$

Happy hacking,
