Thanks for maintaining debian's gnumeric package.
I think it's great.
It seems to me that now that gnumeric can test
whether data is normally distributed, it should
also provide a menu option for when it isn't.
For example:
Tools->Statistical Analysis->Non-Parametric->Mann-Whitney U-test
I'd especially like to be able to test whether two
sets of non-normally distributed data have
significantly different means.
There was some talk about doing this a year or two
ago. See
