On a freshly installed squeeze system, I ran evince for the first time
(not under GNOME) and got:
** (evince:27190): WARNING **: Failed to create dbus proxy for
org.gnome.SettingsDaemon: Could not get owner of name
'org.gnome.SettingsDaemon': no such name
** (evince:27190): WARNING **: Error creating last_settings file: Error
opening file '/home/mgoetze/.gnome2/evince/last_settings': No such file
or directory
[1] 27190 segmentation fault evince /tmp/vl12.ps
After I ran "mkdir ~/.gnome2/evince" and tried again, evince worked as
expected.
