Package: sugar-artwork-0.86 Version: 0.86.0-4 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
GTK 2.20 made an API change that breaks sugar-artwork because it's compiled with -DGTK_DISABLE_DEPRECATED. Sugar will fail to start up with the following error: python: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/engines/libsugar.so: undefined symbol: GTK_WIDGET_HAS_FOCUS This has recently been fixed upstream [2] by removing -DGTK_DISABLE_DEPRECATED, -DGDK_DISABLE_DEPRECATED and -DG_DISABLE_DEPRECATED from gtk/engine/Makefile.am. The original fix replaced GTK_WIDGET_HAS_FOCUS with gtk_widget_has_focus, but that breaks systems with GTK < 2.20. [1] At least 0.86 and 0.88 are affected, most likely 0.84 is as well.
