I have seen this occasionally with this version of libberkeleydb-perl.
Later versions seem OK. It actually seems to be a bug in
libberkeleydb-perl rather than apt-cacher, but the XSLT extensions are
difficult to debug.

Is your version of libdb4.6 up to date?

I suggest you upgrade to the testing versions of apt-cacher and
libberkeleydb-perl. I think they will install on a stable system as
there are no testing specific dependencies.
