Package: ttf-malayalam-fonts Version: 1:0.5.9 Hi,
because Meera font is already in the global sans-serif fontset (see 65-nonlatin.conf), the matching rule in conf.avail/90-ttf-malayalam-fonts.conf matches _any_ sans-serif font, messing up display on any installation other than native Indian. The similar rule in conf.d/ttf-malayalam-fonts.conf (using target="font" instead of target="pattern") seems to be ok. Also, in all Indian ttf packages, the configuration files are installed twice, but with small differences, once into conf.d, which should contain only symlinks, and another variation in conf.avail. IMHO there should be only one proper version in conf.avail, and it should be linked to conf.d. In addition, 90-ttf-oriya-fonts.conf is a broken link. There is no 90-ttf-oriya-fonts.conf in conf.avail. Regards, -- Jindrich Makovicka -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
