After feedback from formorer on IRC (he runs paste.debian.net) it seems that the perl client mentioned on http://paste.debian.net/paste.pl?show_template=clients, too, is the better choice anyway and has also support for stuff, pastebinit can't do. So I reopen the bug again, just with a slightly different title.
