PS: Good news: The rtl8139 seems to be working again. I am not sure what went wrong on the previous sessions.
The e1000 virtual NIC still doesn't work. The Solaris guest could grab an IP address from the DHCP server, the address was added to DDNS, but then I could not ping the guest at all.
