Dear Maintainer,

A very useful and well-known script is git-pbuilder by Russ Allbery. The
script
acts as a wrapper around the pdebuild/cowbuild/pbuilder complex so that
using
those scripts is (mostly) seamless from git-buildpackage.

I created a package for the script, but Russ rightly noted that a package
for
just one script might be overkill and that adding it to git-buildpackage
might
be easier for users.

So: Please add git-pbuilder to the package.

Please find it at:

http://www.eyrie.org/~eagle/software/scripts/git-pbuilder.html

As I wrote earlier, I tried my hand at the packaging, which is at:

http://gitweb.byte.nl/git/git-pbuilder.git

One hint: perl documentation is included in the script. The manual is easily
extracted with:

        override_dh_installman:
                pod2man git-pbuilder > debian/git-pbuilder.1
                dh_installman

        override_dh_clean:
                rm -f debian/git-pbuilder.1
                dh_clean

Thanks!

Regards,

Allard Hoeve
