'get-iplayer --type liveradio' followed by an attempt to stream
Radio 4 results in:

As far as I can see, local radio stations stream fine but the national
ones don't.

Using a copy of the get_iplayer script from

http://github.com/jjl/get_iplayer

fixes the problem.

Sorry, I can't point to exactly to what makes the important difference
but there is a extra chunk of code relating to flash audio present in
the github version.
