All I wanted was the aesni module (wich is only available with amd64 kernels). I have a full amd64 installation where the fglrx compiles and works correctly EXCEPT that resuming from a suspension to RAM causes heavy swapping rendering the system unusable. With an i386 arch installation this doesn't happen and the fglrx driver suspends and resumes to/from RAM correctly almost always. I don't think there are debian bug reports for this, but there are some for ubuntu and opensuse e.g. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/391628). Hopefully some day AMD will fix this suspend to RAM problem (thus solving both my problems ;-) ). john -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
