Package: sepia Version: 0.98-2 Severity: normal File: /etc/emacs/site-start.d/50sepia.el
/usr/share/doc/emacsen-common/debian-emacs-policy.gz section 9 asks lisp add-ons to add directories with debian-pkg-add-load-path-item rather than directly modifying load-path the way 50sepia.el does. I believe debian-pkg-add-load-path-item is available as of "sarge" emacsen-common 1.4.14 of June 2002. Its effect is to keep /usr/local ahead of packaged lisp dirs so local stuff has precedence. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-1-486 Locale: LANG=en_AU, LC_CTYPE=en_AU (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages sepia depends on: ii dpkg 1.15.5.6 Debian package management system ii emacs22-gtk [emacs2 22.3+1-1.2 The GNU Emacs editor (with GTK use ii emacs23 23.1+1-4 The GNU Emacs editor (with GTK+ us ii install-info 4.13a.dfsg.1-5 Manage installed documentation in ii libmodule-info-perl 0.31-1 Information about Perl modules ii libpadwalker-perl 1.9-2 module to inspect and manipulate l ii libsub-uplevel-perl 0.2200-1 module to spoof the Perl call stac ii perl 5.10.1-12 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii w3m-el-snapshot [w3 1.4.393+0.20100421-1 simple Emacs interface of w3m (dev Versions of packages sepia recommends: ii perl-doc 5.10.1-2 Perl documentation sepia suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
