1. Won't it be easier, and hopefully better, to pull the upstream's 
   newer version, instead of looking for the correct patches for    
   0.5.15lorg3.2-6?
2. As stated in http://www.debian.org/News/weekly/2010/03/#2, DDs
   are encouraged to NMU RC bugs before a release.  Does the package
   maintainer agree that you will upload an NMU to DELAYED queue?
   Do you have the resources to package a version that will close
   this bug?
