This is kind of a recurrent argument, emerged for the first time when the Ubuntu box got added to the PTS. I completely agree with you in principle; still, it is kind of pointless to rename s/Ubuntu/Derivatives/ while we only have that for Ubuntu. By all means, all derivatives are encouraged to do something similar, but most of them don't even have a BTS in the first place. The day some other derivatives will come to us with a BTS, diffs, and a patch flow, that would be IMO the right moment to generalize the thing (possibly even proposing a standard format to expose data for Debian, etc.). Doing that before seems like overengineering to me (unless you claim that doing that can actually *encourage* other derivatives to do the same, but I'm personally a bit skeptical on that).
