Hi,
The man page reads:
"[--full-resolver] can be used to force the use of the full resolver even when
Aptitude::Always-Use-Safe-Resolver is true. The safe-upgrade command never
uses the full resolver and does not accept the --full-resolver option."
But safe-upgrade does accept that option:
$ aptitude safe-upgrade
...
Unable to resolve dependencies for the upgrade: no solution found.
Unable to safely resolve dependencies, try running with --full-resolver.
$ aptitude safe-upgrade --full-resolver
