Dear Sir, I have a TV card for playing TV channels, i.e. Philips below There is no sound since 2-3 years I have bought this card. I reported a bug but no one could really understand why it is not present in the kernel. Is there someone that could have enough experience in that field, which is affected to development of kernels. THis card costs 30 bucks, but still it is important that kernel are working. So I took the audio cabble frmo the tv broadcasst card and pluged it into the mother board AUDIO port of my asus mother board. No sound. Please any ASUS motherboards arent working if anyone put the audio cable. This could be annoying for musicians. Ok, apple is better for music, but still let s make LINUX for everyone. The card is a : ASUS P7H55M PRO and the port audio that is not supported by any kernels is : pro digital audio connector 4-1 pin spdif_out with the regular: spdif_out: +5v N.avail. spdifout GND for the cabling. Hoping that someone of talents in coding kernel will read and have interest to this bug. Any help would be greatly appreciated !
