hi Jonny, thanks for your work on this bug. Indeed synce-gvfs isn't in Debian yet (RPF at bug #517846), seems I got it installed from an Ubuntu ppa as a kind of 'collateral damage' while bughunting. Took a look at it today, but synce-gvfs is really weird: it wants a gvfs source tree and compile that before building the actual synce backend. Almost like it would be better off as part of gvfs to begin with.
