Hello, this infamous "sawfish loosing windows when xinerama is active" bug is a sawfish bug (not GNOME), which is fixed in the latest 1.6.2 release (http://download.tuxfamily.org/sawfish/sawfish/sawfish-1.6.2.tar.bz2).
