Hi, I cannot burn DVD since I upgraded to Squeeze. And, I suspect blkid to be the cause of this problem. When I try to burn a DVD, my system fails. After that, my DVD drive is locked and I can see a process "/sbin/blkid -o udev -p -u noraid /dev/sr0" running. Then, after some seconds, this process disappears (stops?), and a second process "/lib/udev/udisks-part-id /dev/sr0" is started. Then, after some other seconds, this second process disappears, and the "/sbin/blkid ..." process is restarted... This sequence continues for some minutes during which my DVD drive is awfully noisy. The 2 processes are both launched by the "udevd --daemon" process. Can you help me figuring out what is going on here? And why I can't burn DVD's anymore?
