Hi,

This problem also manifests when trying to create a sid bootstrap on amd64.

$ uname -a
Linux pc8210 2.6.32-trunk-amd64 #1 SMP Sun Jan 10 22:40:40 UTC 2010
x86_64 GNU/Linux
$ dpkg -s cdebootstrap | grep '^Version'
Version: 0.5.5
$ sudo cdebootstrap sid sid-chroot/ http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian

If the same command is ran again immediately, it succeeds:

$ sudo cdebootstrap sid sid-chroot/ http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian
P: Retrieving Release
P: Retrieving Release.gpg
P: Validating Release
I: Good signature from "Debian Archive Automatic Signing Key

This makes 'pbuilder create' fail every time (and of course, changing
to debootstrap does not help, it fails in another way).
