Yes, thanks for the reports. I confirm the bug, the regression is
introduced by the
debian/diff/0009-BUILTIN-Honor-tab-as-IFS-whitespace-when-splitting-fi.diff
patch added in 0.5.5.1-4. Upcoming upload will fix it.
