Hi,
recent versions of system-config-printer include
sysytem-config-printer-udev which superseeds hal-cups-utils [1]. This makes
it possible to run a decent squeeze desktop wht hal removed from the
system. Please update system-config-printer for squeeze to 1.2 and ship
system-config-printer-udev:
