Package: initramfs-tools Version: 0.93.4 Severity: normal Hello,
i have some SAN-Discs that should be grouped at boot time. After my Update yesterday, multipath does not start at boot time whith the an error like this: ... /lib64/multipath/libcheckdirectio.so cannot open shared object file Sorry, i didn't get the full message. It semms that multipath is expecting this file in /lib64/multipath but this file is located in /lib/multipath in the initrd-image. When i create a symbolic link in lib64 pointing to lib/multipath the initializing of the multipaths works. I hope this helps to find the Bug. best regards Ingo Rauschenberg -- Package-specific info: -- /proc/cmdline root=/dev/mapper/VG_SYSTEM-LVROOT ro vga=791 -- /proc/filesystems ext3 ext4 -- lsmod Module Size Used by vmnet 34699 3 parport_pc 18855 0 parport 27938 1 parport_pc vsock 18412 0 vmci 43259 1 vsock vmmon 59867 0 ext4 285099 2 jbd2 66887 1 ext4 crc16 1319 1 ext4 loop 11783 0 joydev 8411 0 snd_pcm 60615 0 snd_timer 15502 1 snd_pcm snd 46350 2 snd_pcm,snd_timer soundcore 4598 1 snd snd_page_alloc 6217 1 snd_pcm psmouse 49505 0 pcspkr 1699 0 serio_raw 3752 0 dcdbas 5048 0 power_meter 8302 0 evdev 7336 4 processor 30215 16 ext3 106486 3 jbd 37053 1 ext3 mbcache 4970 2 ext4,ext3 dm_round_robin 2212 2 raid456 44388 1 async_raid6_recov 5058 1 raid456 async_pq 3479 2 raid456,async_raid6_recov raid6_pq 77179 2 async_raid6_recov,async_pq async_xor 2478 3 raid456,async_raid6_recov,async_pq xor 4380 1 async_xor async_memcpy 1198 2 raid456,async_raid6_recov async_tx 1750 5 raid456,async_raid6_recov,async_pq,async_xor,async_memcpy raid1 18175 3 md_mod 73632 6 raid456,raid1 dm_multipath 13176 3 dm_round_robin dm_mod 53674 39 dm_multipath scsi_dh 4592 1 dm_multipath fan 3346 0 sg 18728 0 sr_mod 12602 0 cdrom 29399 1 sr_mod usbhid 33132 0 hid 62825 1 usbhid usb_storage 38521 0 ses 5096 0 sd_mod 29689 34 crc_t10dif 1276 1 sd_mod enclosure 5471 1 ses uhci_hcd 18505 0 qla2xxx 202926 16 scsi_transport_fc 35275 1 qla2xxx ehci_hcd 30706 0 igb 77975 0 megaraid_sas 29052 14 thermal 11674 0 scsi_tgt 8434 1 scsi_transport_fc usbcore 121703 5 usbhid,usb_storage,uhci_hcd,ehci_hcd thermal_sys 11878 3 processor,fan,thermal nls_base 6377 1 usbcore scsi_mod 121925 10 scsi_dh,sg,sr_mod,usb_storage,ses,sd_mod,qla2xxx,scsi_transport_fc,megaraid_sas,scsi_tgt dca 3729 1 igb bnx2 57289 0 button 4634 0 -- /etc/kernel-img.conf # Kernel image management overrides # See kernel-img.conf(5) for details do_symlinks = yes do_bootloader = no do_initrd = yes link_in_boot = no -- /etc/initramfs-tools/initramfs.conf MODULES=most BUSYBOX=y KEYMAP=n BOOT=local DEVICE=eth0 NFSROOT=auto -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-3-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages initramfs-tools depends on: ii cpio 2.11-4 GNU cpio -- a program to manage ar ii findutils 4.4.2-1 utilities for finding files--find, ii klibc-utils 1.5.18-1 small utilities built with klibc f ii module-init-tools 3.12~pre2-3 tools for managing Linux kernel mo ii udev 153-2 /dev/ and hotplug management daemo Versions of packages initramfs-tools recommends: ii busybox 1:1.14.2-2 Tiny utilities for small and embed initramfs-tools suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
