It works for me to convert your provided PDF to PS using either pdftops (poppler) or pdf2ps (ghostscript).
Does it work for you using pdf2ps too?Ghostscript conversion use far more diskspace - as a wild guess perhaps you simply have too limited free disk space in your spool area?
To get the cause of your problem narrowed down we need some more detailed info: You you dig out log details from CUPS?
