Dear maintainers,

I tried hard to change speech-dispatcher to use other voice player than
espeak. Neither editing the configuration file, nor using spd-conf did work.

As I wsant to use German output, I wanted to use festival. In the former
version (kttsd 4.3.4) I could use hadifix (mbrola/txt2pho), which worked
perfectly. Is there a way to use it with kttsd/speech-dispatcher, too?

Is speech-dispatcher maybe not compiled/able for using German language? I
know, hadifix is not open licensed, so it is maybe disabled in Debian.

I will be very happy of more information.

Best regards

Hans-J. Ullrich
