Aha! OK, this got it enabled: sudo apt-get remove --purge iceowl calendar-google-provider && \ sudo rm -rf /usr/lib/iceowl && \ sudo apt-get install iceowl calendar-google-provider Now it's enabled, but when I start I get: "An error was encountered preparing the calendar located at moz-profile-calendar:// for use. The calendar might refer to unknown timezones. Please install the latest calendar-timezones.xpi." And if I click "details", I get: "[Exception... "'<error>' when calling method: [calICalendar::uri]" nsresult: "0x804a0008 (<unknown>)" location: "JS frame :: file:///usr/lib/iceowl/modules/calUtils.jsm -> file:///usr/lib/iceowl/calendar-js/calCalendarManager.js :: cmgr_createCalendar :: line 613" data: no]" And there's a little orange triangle with an exclamation point next to my Google calendar. So I still can't SEE my google calendar, but at least the extension is no longer disabled. -- Phil Dibowitz p...@ipom.com Open Source software and tech docs Insanity Palace of Metallica http://www.phildev.net/ http://www.ipom.com/ "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." - Dr. Seuss
