Bug#512786: audacity recording freezes in 1.3.6-2 to 1.3.12

I have still the same problem as in the first report of this thread, now 
with audacity 1.3.12.

Kernel: 2.6.33.2
Debian-Sid 26.04.2010.
So I return to audacity 1.3.5 again.

Changing the prferences ( bit-rate, frequenz-sample-rate) has no effect.
