Hi, I took over maintenance from Andreas Tille a while back who since then kindly sponsors most of my packages, including Clustal[XY]. I wanted to wait for a new upstream release of ClutalW before going through the problem of compiling it on all the platforms it ran on before. You now gave me another reason to update the package. As Aaron said, the real work is for whoever sponsors me, it will take another while until I am accepted as a DD, I presume. There are a few other bug reports I want to get through, though.
